  • What are the different MatchboxAir modes?
    1. Streaming: This is the default setting; it surgically selects and reroutes only the supported streaming services packets. All other traffic is left alone and remains unaffected. 2. USA: All Internet traffic is routed via the USA. 3. UK: All Internet traffic is routed via the UK.
  • How do I change to a different mode on MatchboxAir?
    Go to http://172.16.0.1 in a web browser from any device connected to the MatchBoxAir router. Click on “device location”. Find the desired device from the list of connected devices and change the mode for the specific device.
  • What are the minimum requirements to use MatchboxAir?
    1. A router with a high speed Internet connection. If you already have a wireless hotspot or more than one computer connected to the network, you should be all set. 2. A device that can stream content off the Internet. A laptop or desktop computer, mobile phone, tablet, TV streamer, etc.
  • How do I setup the MatchboxAir?
    With the provided ethernet cable, connect any available YELLOW LAN port on your ISP router to the BLUE WAN port on the MatchboxAir router.
  • Can I use MatchboxAir with more than one device at the same time?
    While most VPN services limit the amount of devices you can connect, MatchboxAir allows you to simultaneously connect with as many devices as you want.
  • Can I use MatchboxAir in place of my current Internet service provider?
    Unfortunately, no. You will still need access to an existing internet connection (Cable, DSL, Satellite, Etc.).
  • What speeds should I expect from the MatchboxAir wireless network?
    Speed should be almost identical at to what you get with your ISP.
  • How do I connect my devices?
    You can connect your devices through wifi or directly with an ethernet cable.
  • How do I change the wifi password on the MatchboxAir router?

  • Will my operating system work with MatchboxAir?
    MatchboxAir’s technology will work with any operating system.
  • What devices are compatible with MatchboxAir?
    Any device that connects to the internet can be used with a MatchboxAir router. This includes all computers, smartphones, internet streamers (ie. Apple TV, Roku, Firestick, etc.) and smart TV’s.
  • What should I do if I can connect to MatchboxAir, but I cannot browse/stream?"
    Make sure that your ISP internet connection is working. If not, contact ISP. Reboot the MatchboxAir router and wait 3 minutes. Still having issue, contact support.
  • What if I am having content access issues?
    Make sure the mode that is selected on your router is the appropriate one for the content that you are trying to access. Make sure the content you are trying to access is from one of the countries currently supported by MatchboxAir’s service.

  • What is MatchboxAir?
    MatchboxAir is the world’s most simple-to-use VPN (Virtual Private Network) router. Connecting your devices to MatchboxAir gives you instant access to geo-blocked content and protects your privacy.
  • How is MatchboxAir different from traditional VPN services?
    Speed – MatchboxAir uses advanced algorithms to allow high speed connections directly to media providers. In contrast, traditional VPNs redirect all your internet traffic via a man-in-the-middle, creating huge bottlenecks. Simplicity – Just plug in the MatchboxAir router and connect any internet device to it. That’s it. Versatility – MatchboxAir supports all computer systems, mobile devices, tablets, smart TVs, newer game consoles, and streamers. In contrast, traditional VPNs or proxies only work on your computer, so you can't watch shows or movies from content providers like Amazon or Hulu+ on your TV. Simultaneous Multi-Zone – Watch content from different regions at the same time – one person in the house can watch “The Voice UK” on BBC while someone else can watch a movie off of Amazon in the US, all at the same time.
  • Does MatchboxAir affect or slow down other internet services I have?
    No way! In streaming mode, MatchboxAir will not affect any other Internet-based services you have. The MatchboxAir router surgically selects and reroutes only the supported streaming services packets. All other traffic is left alone and remains unaffected.
  • What countries can I connect to with the MatchboxAir?
    MatchboxAir allows you to connect to the US or UK and view content exclusively available there. Access to more countries is in the works!
  • Is Netflix USA unblocked?
    At this time we will no longer officially be supporting Netflix US/UK and Netflix will stream directly from your home country. However, all our other channels remain unblocked.
  • How do I change my billing information or cancel the service?

  • How do I re-activate the service if I’ve cancelled?
    Contact us by phone or email and request reactivation. We will require the MAC ID number of your MatchboxAir router and credit card details. The MAC ID number can be found on the label on the bottom of the router.
